Ronald Daniels is a proud member of the Mackinac band of Odawa and Ojibwa indians. As well as a member of the Sault Ste Marie tribe of Chippewa indians.
Ron's passion for the art of woodworking, music and his family came at a young age. At age 15 he converted his backyard garage/bedroom into a woodshop/band studio. There, he would build his own guitars to jam with his "garage band". Since those days, both his woodworking and music skills excelled into what it is today.
Ron is the owner of Turtle Sun Woodshop Inc. He has been a successful builder, woodworking/Millwork business owner since 1978.
While working in his shop in 2002, Ron was attempting to twist wood shapes for a jewelry box that he was working on. He noticed that if the pieces were turned on a lathe in a certain way, that unique and intriguing shapes were produced interspersed throughout the turned piece. The method of manufacture was discovered totally by accident. That's when the United States Patent was applied for and received. The U.S. method of manufacture patent number is #6,814,113,B1. The use of this patent seemed natural to use for pool cues. Thus Twisted Turtle Cues was born.
The Cues
To produce an exceptional cue, we have assembled a team of very talented craftspeople. Including artist and woodworkers who are committed to their craft. We know and understand the players, and the time tested traditions of cue construction. Only seasoned master cuesmiths build these cues. These cues are warranted for life to theoriginal owner.
